Welcome to the Mike Risko Music School
The Mike Risko Music School, conveniently located in Ossining NY, offers private music lessons on piano, guitar, drums, voice, bass, strings, brass, and woodwinds. We also teach a variety of group classes like Rock and Jazz Band Workshops for adults, teens and kids. In addition we offer our incredible Rock Band Summer Workshop Camp and our unique Intro to Piano program for Pre-K aged students. We also do children's birthday parties, provide live musical entertainment for all kinds of events and offer musical outreach programs within the community.
The Mike Risko Music School is owned by Mike and Miriam Risko who have created an environment where students of all ages and levels can study music and progress at their own pace. All students have the opportunity to perform regularly in many different kinds of venues. The Risko's school provides the mid-Westchester area with educated teachers who guide students of all ages through their curriculum which guarantees success and enjoyment of music.

We invite you in to meet us, take a tour of our school and learn all about how you can get started playing a musical instrument. In addition to our school, we have a fully stocked music store complete with music books and sheet music. We carry guitars and bass guitars from Ibanez, Fender, Godin and Seagull. We also carry Tama drums and a full line of brand new band instruments for rent and purchase. We offer instrument repair and service and all musical accessories. Thursday July 22nd-Grand Opening Celebration of our new space at 144 Croton Ave! Finally, although we moved in March, we will celebrate with a Ribbon Cutting by Mayor William Hanauer of Ossining and Bob Galassi, former owner of Ossining Music Centre. Join us for food, fun and live music!!
Friday July 23rd-Mike Risko Band at Saw Mill Club Pool Party Mt Kisco! $15, pay at the door. Lots of food!!
Friday July 30-Mike Risko Rock Camp Showcase at Louis Engel Park in Ossining by the Ossining Train Station! Open to the public! Bring a picnic dinner and listen to the music under the stars with the Hudson River in the background!
Thursday Augsut 19-The Mike Risko Band at FAB (French American Bistro) in Mt Kisco! 9-11:30pm with Mike (guitar), Miriam (vocals), Larry (bass), Ben (keyboard), Steve (drums). Join us!! Come celebrate Mike's birthday!
