Below you will find some valuable questions to ask us if you are looking to hire live music for your event. You should also bring some of your own questions. Be sure to read "I Do", our tips on hiring live music to help you with your musical search.
How long will you play? Most bands are hired for 3 or 4 hour events, but if an event is shorter we can accommodate you.
How many breaks will be taken during my event? Bands usually play sets of about 45 minutes to 60 minutes and take 15 minute breaks.
Can you provide music during the breaks? We provide music during the breaks which we play through our PA system.
Should I feed the musicians? If you want to.
What if I am on a budget? The great thing about the Risko bands is there are three you can choose from. If you would love to have live music but have a very small budget and aren't looking for a huge dance party, why not consider the acoustic duo. Live music in any capacity ads an amazing energy to a party and this will give you that energy without the huge bill.
What if I am concerned about the band's volume? We are professional musicians who know how to keep the volume at a suitable level without compromising the music. Your guests should be able to carry on a conversation with live music playing. We welcome your input during the event and will always turn down the volume to accommodate you if you feel that it is too loud.
Can I request some songs? We ask that our customers check out our set list and see if it is what they are looking for in advance because we specialize in certain types of music but we are willing to learn up to three songs by request.
How do the musicians dress? Unless there is another dress code, we will be dressed professionally (suits, tuxedos, dresses).
Do you bring all your own equipment? Yes, and you can make speeches anytime throughout the event through our PA system.
What if I have a family member that sings and I want them to sing with the band? If you have a special request, we will try to accommodate you.

Are you available to play at clubs? Yes, all three MR Entertainment bands are available to play at clubs.
Do you require a deposit to book one of your bands? Yes, that will be discussed at your consultation.
