We love our local school districts! It is always fun to visit the schools. Whether we are playing music, talking at career day or just reading a book, we always have a lot of fun! Check out the Mike Risko Band playing A Alligators All Around for a second grade class in 2015 at Brookside School. Click here to watch!
Each year at the end of June, we open up our school for students at Roosevelt School, the public school up the block, to come for walking trip to visit us on one of the days before school ends! They make it part of their capstone project. We talk to them about entreprenuership and being a mom and pop business where community comes first. They ask lots of great questions and we get to tell them our story which we hope will inspire them to go out a follow their career dreams. Our favorite part of the trip is playing music for them before they go. Thanks to the great students at Roosevelt School and to Dr. Brandon Beck and Vanessa Vaccaro for coordinating these trips! This is one of the groups that visited us in June 2019.
